Recall for WOLF UniAir - ceiling outlet valves 125R and 125Q
Background
Dear WOLF customers,
As part of our ongoing product monitoring, we have unfortunately discovered that the sealing rings installed in the UniAir ceiling outlet valves can be subject to premature ageing. In rare cases, the rubber compound used becomes brittle at an early stage. As a result, the valves can become detached from the ceiling mounting and fall down. This is a risk where it cannot be ruled out that a chain of certain circumstances may result in personal injury or damage to property. This affects the round and square Uni-Air valves with article numbers 2577879 and 2577880 from the production period January 2019 to July 2021.
For WOLF, the safety of our customers and the reliability of our products are of paramount importance. For this reason, we recommend that you promptly replace this seal with an improved version for valves that are already installed. With these new sealing rings, which are also installed in all new valves (new item numbers 2577988 and 2577989), brittleness no longer occurs.

- We also need the number of sealing rings to be replaced. Therefore, please check in advance how many valves are installed in your home or how many you have installed and order a sealing ring for each installed valve.
- Please be patient. You will receive an envelope with the improved sealing rings from us shortly!

The replacement is completely free of charge for you. All you have to do is request the replacement via the contact form and we will send you the new sealing rings free of charge.
