The RenovatAir domestic ventilation system from WOLF is a sophisticated solution to the challenges of modern home design. It provides fresh air and a healthy indoor climate.
The system is particularly suitable for use in renovated buildings and new builds. Whether you are struggling with unwanted mold in your young existing building or want to improve the building's insulation - RenovatAir is the solution for excellent air quality within your four walls. As you don't have to open your windows all the time, you also optimize your energy consumption and have less noise to contend with, for example from the street.
The system is made up of the following components: The basis is a central ventilation systems, such as the WOLF CWL-2; central RenovatAir grilles and the RenovatAir Mixfan with integrated CO2 sensors or each supply air room are also required. The RenovatAir Mixfan is a ventilation element with a fan that automatically transports the air. The combination of these components enables efficient, demand-controlled ventilation - ideal for existing buildings with few options for air distribution via conventional ducts.
It is also possible to combine the RenovatAir Mixfan with decentralized systems. This makes it possible to ventilate rooms that are not on the outside wall, for example, and where it is not possible to install a decentralized device.
The system is based on a central ventilation system with heat recovery.
The entire supply air volume is fed into the central corridor or staircase area via a central RenovatAir grille.
The RenovatAir Mixfan is located above the doors of the common room (e.g. bedroom or children's room).
Polluted air is detected by the integrated CO2 sensors and extracted or transported away into the space in between via RenovatAir.
A further CO2 sensor in the central corridor or staircase area ensures that the room ventilation unit provides almost outside air quality in this room.
The air flows in from the central corridor or staircase area as required through an overflow device (gap below the door or grille).
